The Center for Creative eXchange is for practical purposes an artist and writer residency in the making which operates through a method of thinking holistically and implementing a sustainable system through its functions and programming.

The glue of the Center's environment is the concept of the 'Home'. Therefore working, sleeping, eating, creating, interacting, reflecting, questioning and sharing, all occur under one roof where each 'member of the household' (so to speak) can become familiar with and learn from one another as well as from their experiences in the world in which they exist and come from. In this same vein, CCeX has an annual exhibition entitled Home. This exhibition will be curated and designed in a unique manner each year based solely upon the interpretation of its title.
