The Center for Creative eXchange is for practical purposes an artist and writer residency in the making which operates through a method of thinking holistically and implementing a sustainable system through its functions and programming.

Our programming includes artists' installations which are both permanent and semi-permanent. In the rebuild process of the CCeX, artists and architects will take a specific site or functional need within the house to recreate into a work of art. Some of the committed artists include BU-CON, Joseph Grigley, Teresa Petersen and Brent Sommerhauser. These artists work in a variety of media and method, but each work will be specific to the site chosen. A sponsor for each artist is sought to see these projects completed. Sponsors names will be posted with each piece and included in relevant catalogues.
